Breast augmentation Surgery

Properly-shaped, fuller and firmer breasts can enhance the look of any woman. It usually happens that with passing age, or due to weight loss or the after effects of pregnancy, women tend to experience drop in the breast volume or firmness. This problem puts women at an embarrassing position. With treatments like implants and fat grafting, breasts can be augmented, hence giving a proper balance to the figure. In medical language, the surgery is known by the name, Augmentation Mammoplasty.

The surgery solves issues regarding asymmetrical breast size and hanging or under-sized breasts. By giving proper size and shape to the breasts, the surgery helps in elevating the confidence of women and also brings excitement in their sexual lives.

Before starting the procedure, patients have to go through a fitness check. Also, one week prior to the surgery, patients are recommended to inch themselves away from smoking, herbal products, aspirin, clopidogrel and vitamin E. The patient is treated under general anesthesia. Small incisions are made through infra mamming, in the area that is less visible so that scars can be kept hidden. The size of breasts that is demanded by patients also depends on other factors like the patient's skin type, anatomy and elasticity.

Breast implant is emerging as the surgical procedure that women prefer now a days. The implants look exactly like natural breasts, with the gel inside them moving like natural tissue. Based on parameters like body type, degree of enlargement, method of insertion, type of implant and positon of implant, the incision made is covered with skin adhesive or surgical tape.

The scar becomes invisible with time and the surgery gives immediate results to the patients. It takes around 2 to 3 weeks to recover from the surgery and patients are recommended to wear breast support for some weeks post-surgery.
